I Fight For Those Who Served.
"I didn't learn resilience in a law library. I learned it in uniform. Today, I use that same discipline to fight the federal bureaucracy that is denying you the benefits you earned."
— Michael Lockridge, Major, JAG (Ret.)
My Journey: From Service to Advocacy
My path to becoming a federal attorney began not in a courtroom, but in the service of our nation. As a Marine and later as an Army JAG officer, I learned early on that rules and regulations are often used as barriers rather than tools for justice.
I saw firsthand the physical and mental toll that service takes on a person. I also saw how the complex administrative process can unintentionally leave deserving veterans behind. That experience forged my commitment to ensure no veteran fights alone.
Working from the inside of the federal government provided a unique perspective on how agencies operate—and how they can be successfully challenged.
Why I Founded Lockridge Law
I founded this firm with a single, clear mission: to level the playing field. The Department of Veterans Affairs and the federal government have unlimited resources, time, and lawyers. You do not.
Too many veterans are denied life-changing benefits simply because they don't speak the specific legal language the VA requires. Others with valid federal claims give up because the sheer volume of paperwork and regulation is overwhelming.
My job is to ease your burden. I handle the bureaucracy, the strategy, and the fight, so you can focus on your health and your family.
Who I Represent
While my primary focus is challenging VA disability denials, my commitment extends to the entire military community. I aggressively represent:
Surviving Spouses & Families
Securing Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC) and survivor pensions. When a veteran passes, the fight for their benefits shouldn't stop.
Personal Injury Claims
Representing veterans and families injured by government negligence (FTCA & NC claims).
Don't Fight Alone.
You have already served your country. You shouldn't have to fight for your benefits alone. Let's discuss your case.
